Spotify now has a huge advantage over Apple Music for students



The price of Apple Music for students in the UK, US and Canada has been quietly raised this week, with no warning or explanation from Apple.

After news last month that Apple was increasing the price of its student plan in Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, India, South Africa, Indonesia, Israel and Kenya, prices have now been hiked. Apple Music may be one of the best iPhone apps for streaming and listening to music, but being a student means every penny counts, and some people may find themselves taking on Spotify as a cheaper alternative, less so.
