Many years ago huawei was outlined as the mobile company or cooperative and electronic devices that would dominate the market. But, due to a multitude of political, economic and all kinds of problems, it was separated from Android and from a large part of the western markets.
On this matter, we had already commented on it here. But, returning to the recent news, the reality is that those of Huawei have not ceased to be one of the best mobile options.
An example of this is the following Huawei Nova Y90which has just been announced in the Asian markets and it is expected to be available in Europe this Julycoinciding with the launch in China of the Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro, which is its local version.

A good screen and a decent processor

Yes ok it’s a decent mid-range CPU that allow you to run most apps without spending a lot of energy. Although, it is still quite limited, even more so if it is required to run video game graphics.
Still, it is not a bad choice in a mid-range mobile that wants to be affordable. Plus, it packs enough power to take advantage of the incredible 6.7 screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
With this, at least we make sure that this mobile is capable of playing high-definition videos without many losses or delay.
Huge battery and high resolution cameras

Furthermore, thanks to his 40W fast chargeyou can have the battery at 50% in just 30 minutes.
On the other hand, it offers up three rear cameras inside a circular frame (the fourth space is occupied by the led flash for aesthetic balance), being quite similar to the Huawei Mate 40E.
One point against it is that those of Leica abandoned the Huawei ship and went with Xiaomi. But it is not surprising that they continue maintaining the same quality and high resolution in each of their chamberstaking into account that Leica was only in charge of certifying them.
EMUI 12 but based on Android?
Among the big problems that Huawei avoids is the block imposed by Google, which prevents them from freely accessing the Android OS. Therefore, at the moment we know that the Huawei Nova Y90 will maintain an OS EMUI 12 which will apparently be based on a version of Android, possibly 12 or lower.
But, it would not be surprising that they will end up offering only the version with EMUI 12 based on Harmony OS 2.0.
How much will the Huawei Nova Y90 cost?

But we hope to have more information on the Huawei Nova Y90 in the coming weeks. Either way, keep an eye on Androidphoria for more news on this and other promising phones.
