Revealed by Stardew Valley 1.6 Update Developer



Stardew Valley will be getting the 1.6 update soon, but “it won’t be huge”, says developer ConcernedApp.

Revealed in a tweet by stardew valley Developer Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barron, we now know that Farming Sim is due to receive another update sometime in the near future. After a fan tweeted Barron’s asking if Stardew Valley would get any more updates, the developer replied: “1.6, yes. But it’s a mostly modding-focused update (makes modders’ lives easier). Some There will be new material but it won’t be huge.” In the same tweet, Barron hinted at the 1.6 update going even further: “1.7? Who knows.”

If you can’t keep up with everything in Stardew Valley, the last update we got was early 2021. 1.5 Update Introduced a ton of features to the game, including new locations like Ginger Island, a new beach farm, split-screen local co-op, new events, characters, puzzles, bug fixes, and more. Unfortunately for us, it looks like there won’t be nearly as much content in 1.6, but at least we know that Baron is still actively working on his farming sim.
