More benchmarks of AMD’s Ryzen 5 7600X CPUs in stock and overclocked configurations have leaked to Bilibili.
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU overclocked to 5.6 GHz, benchmarked on both stock and OC configurations
Benchmarks mostly show testing the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X in a series of benchmarks, but the leaker focused only on single-core performance numbers. There’s no mention of what the test system included, but we can speculate that the leaker was using an X670E motherboard and DDR5 memory, with speeds up to DDR5-6000.
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6 Core “Zen 4” Desktop CPU
At launch the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X will be the most budget-level chip in the entire Zen 4 lineup. It will be a 6-core and 12-thread segment with a higher 4.7 GHz base clock and 5.3 GHz single-core boost frequency. The CPU will also run at 105W TDP (142W PPT) which is much higher than its 65W predecessor, though once again, that’s what you’ll have to sacrifice to get faster clock speeds. The CPU will carry 38MB of cache which comes from 32MB L3 and 6MB L2. The chip will be priced at US$299 and will offer a 5% performance gain over the Core i9-12900K in gaming.

First, we have the performance of the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X in CPU-z where AMD itself has shown 1% IPC elevation, so this is a worst-case scenario for a Zen 4 chip. In stock, the CPU scored 652.8 points, and with an overclock of up to 5.6 GHz, the CPU scored 734.1 points. Next, we have the Cinebench R23 benchmark where the chip scored 1784 points in stock and 1920 with 5.4GHz overclock. Here, the voltage is shown at 1.296V. This is an increase of 12.5% with 5.6 GHz and an increase of 7.5% with 5.4 GHz overclock.
We also get to see some dual-channel performance benchmarks in AIDA64 cache and memory benchmarks in which the CPU with DDR5-6000 memory delivers around 69.9ns latency and decent gains in memory and cache bandwidth compared to its predecessor. The leaker states that the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X can achieve frequencies of up to 5.4-5.5 GHz with 1.32V overclocking, but requires a decent 360mm AIO cooler. Using this setup and OC config, the CPU can sit at around 92C. They also claim that the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X can hit overclock frequencies of up to 5.4 GHz across all cores and each has a score of over 42,000 which puts it well above the unlimited power setting of 13900K. The CPU was placed under a 360mm AIO cooler and resulted in an 82C temperature with OC, but the AIDA64 was not able to pass the stability test under such a configuration.

In stock, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and Intel Core i9-13900K CPUs will both score similarly, but the AMD Zen 4 will have a major advantage when it comes to power efficiency over Intel’s Raptor Lake.
The CPU seems to be on par with Intel’s Core i9-12900K and for $299 US, this is great news for gamers. AMD’s Ryzen 7000 chips begin retailing on September 27th so users can enjoy some big uptick in single- and multi-core workloads. The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and Ryzen 5 7600X also appeared in leaked Geekbench 5 benchmarks a few days ago.
