This is the new Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

The new Galaxy A53 5G resembles the Galaxy A33 5G in many ways, but we also find differences between the two models. On the screen, for example, we have the same Super AMOLED protected by Gorilla Glass 5, although here the panel is perforated, the diagonal is 6.5 inches and the refresh rate is 120Hzbringing it much closer to the high ranges of the market.

For the processor we have the same chip 2.4GHz octa-core (presumably an Exynos 1200) supported about 6GB/8GB in RAM and 128GB/256GB in internal memory. Again the microSD tray appears with up to 1TB capacity to expand the internal memory if we feel like it. The battery is also 5,000 mAh with 25W fast charge and in the system we find Android 12 under One UI 4.1.

The cameras are also separated, starting with the 32-megapixel f/2.2 front. To the back, 64 megapixels f / 1.8 (OIS) for the maina 12-megapixel super wide-angle with an f/2.2 lens, a 5-megapixel depth reader with an f/2.4 lens, and a macro camera with another 5-megapixel and another f/2.4 lens.

For connectivity, again twin brothers. 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C port for file transfer and charging. The model has a fingerprint reader and we can submerge it (with caution) thanks to its IP67 certification against dust and water.
