Mi Fit changes its name: Xiaomi’s fitness app is now Zepp Life

This nomenclature change comes as a consequence of the removal of the Mi prefix from all Chinese brand products and adopts the name of the application of Amazfit smartwatches and sports bracelets, Zepp, a brand that, in turn, is owned by Huami, a subsidiary company of Xiaomi, adding the surname “life” to differentiate it from it.

The Mi Fit app will change its name and logo to Zepp Life with a single update, as the latest version of the Mi Fit app, with version number 5.6.0it will automatically update to Zepp Life version 6.0.0.
