Vivo X90 series with Dimensity 9200 SoC appears on Geekbench


The much-anticipated Vivo X90 series has gone through the Geekbench benchmarking website ahead of its upcoming launch. Notably, Vivo is on the verge of unveiling the new X90 series smartphones.

To recap, Vivo recently confirmed that the X90 series will launch in China on November 22. After going official in China, the X90 lineup will hit store shelves in other regions as well.

Furthermore, the lineup will include three smartphones including the highest-end X90 Pro+ 5G. Furthermore, the series will include the base X90 and X90 Pro 5G smartphones.

Now, ahead of the launch, a handset of Vivo X90 series has appeared on the Geekbench website. According to the Geekbench listing, the alleged handset could be the Vivo X90 or X90 Pro.


The X90 Pro+ 5G will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. However, the X90 and X90 Pro are likely to pack a new flagship SoC from MediaTek.

In fact, the leaked specifications of the Vivo X90 suggest that the handset will use the Dimensity 9200 SoC to draw its power. The model number of the alleged Vivo X90 series device on the Geekbench website is V2241A.

The Geekbench listing confirms earlier reports about the X90’s Dimensity 9200 SoC. Furthermore, the Vivo X90 series device spotted on the Geekbench listing packs 12GB of RAM.

The device runs Android 13 out of the box. When it makes its debut, it will probably get the latest Origin OS software update. Furthermore, the X90 series will boot Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.

Notably, the X90 series phones scored 1353 in Geekbench 5’s single-core test. Similarly, it scored 4055 in the platform’s multi-core test.

In short, the GPU benchmark results of the processor recently surfaced online. The chip appears to outperform the Dimensity 9000+ SoC, the A16 Bionic SoC, and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. More details about the X90 series may surface online in the coming days.
