Laptop RTX 4000 cards can be up to 30% more efficient than the previous generation

According to a leak, the mobile versions of the RTX 4000 series graphics cards will appear early next year. The new systems from Nvidia are to be 30% more efficient than the RTX 3000 family.

We barely had interesting premieres in the form of RTX 4080 and 4090 from Nvidia, and soon we can see the mobile counterparts of these performance monsters.

Nvidia will announce mobile RTX 4000 cards

According to unofficial reports from the Wccftech portal – On January 3, 2023 at 18.00 Polish time, we will receive from Nvidia an announcement of upcoming graphics cards that will be intended for laptops. We will get information first about the RTX 4080 model and the second one, codenamed GN21-X11, at the beginning of February next year. On the other hand, the premiere and publication of the first reviews of new products from “Greens” will appear in the middle of the same month. Among the novelties there will also be raisins in the form of the RTX 3050 with 6 GB VRAM. The currently available version of this GPU in the market and its Ti variant has 4 GB of VRAM.

Mobile RTX 4000 specs and performance

The new generation is to generally bring about a 30% increase in performance compared to the RTX 3000 series. In the case of the RTX 4070, the performance is to be 15% higher compared to the RTX 3080 Ti. However, it should be added that the source does not provide consistent information about the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 Ti. These will be two separate models of mobile graphics cards or the same product, as the available data conveys both marketing names interchangeably.
