Material You can serve as a great start, but if you want to make your phone your own then turning to a custom launcher is a solid bet. But as Android has evolved into a more mature operating system, it’s easy to see a world where many users may be slowly breaking out of their old habits.

Since the launch of Android Policewhich turns 12 this week! – We’ve asked our readers over and over again (and again) about their custom launcher habits. As apps like Nova Launcher and Action Launcher have stuck, new competition from Niagara, Lawnchair, and even Microsoft has helped propel the community forward. Based on one of our surveys from last year, it seems that many of our readers have become comfortable tinkering with OEM-included options.

As we have in previous years, these answers remain unchanged for directly comparing and contrasting answers between voting entries. So, are you currently rocking a custom launcher, or have you left your personalization days in the past?
