I use practically for almost everything, good proof of this are the more than 60 notes that I currently have written. Yes, Notes allows you to put a lock on the ones you want so that they are specially protected.
To encrypt any note and protect it with a password, you only have to press the lock that appears in the upper right corner and choose a password. On those devices with Face ID, protected notes are unlocked through this system, and on phones that use Touch ID, putting the finger. In the rest, you will have to write the password that you have previously chosen.
And it is that this application is found natively on many of the brand’s devices, such as the iPhone, the iPad or the Mac. Thanks to your iCloud account, you can have all your notes available on all your devices, in such a way that if you write a note on the iPhone, it will automatically appear on the iPad or Mac. In particular, this is one of the advantages of using Notes.

In the year 2017, when iOS 11 appeared, Notes received a major push from Apple. It became much more versatile and capable, and this made many people using alternative applications, ended up ending up in Notes definitively.
