Fans for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands are reporting extensive server outages, with games not even happening for a full day. It looks like a problem related to SHIFT key redemption and always-online connection is to blame, but developer Gearbox Software hasn’t said anything on the matter.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches today into the hands of many curious and excited Borderlands fans. However, almost all the players have mentioned a popup that appears again and again on the left side of the screen. First, this popup tells you that you’ve lost your connection to the game’s servers, then it says you’ve reconnected.

Popups repeat endlessly, but now they’ve stopped completely. This is because the servers of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands are offline. It is currently impossible for players to claim matchmakers or SHIFT codes in cooperative sessions. Anything that requires an online connection is not available.

Today, online services were working, but players faced many glitches and errors while matchmaking and playing together. It sounds like Gearbox Software has shut down the server so it can address the root of the problem and get things back online. However, the developer is yet to comment on the situation at the time of writing. The only thing the game’s official Twitter account posted are condensed versions of the launch trailer.
