Xiaomi announces Poco X5 5G and Poco X5 Pro 5G


Xiaomi announced two new smartphones from the brand Bit. Its about Little X5 Pro 5G and the Bit X5 5G, low-priced smartphones with features commonly found on higher-end phones. The Poco X5 is the most basic of the series, while the Poco X5 Pro features more impressive features.

The Poco X5 5G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, 8-bit and protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor, the Poco X5 features 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage and a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The Poco X5’s rear camera consists of three sensors, the main one being 48MP and completed with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera is 13MP and works as a face unlock, although it also has a side fingerprint reader.

Interestingly, the Xiaomi Poco X5 arrives with MIUI 13 with Android 12 installed out of the box.

Coming to the star of the launch, the Poco X5 Pro maintains the 6.67-inch AMOLED screen at FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate – although it is 10-bit and protected by Gorilla Glass 5 – but drastically improves its other components. Starting with the processor, we find a Snapdragon 778G chip with 6GB or 8GB of RAM as options, with 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The battery of the Poco X5 Pro is also 5000 mAh but the charging power increases to 67W, with the charger included from the factory.
