Atari came up with an interesting idea that, although it may capture the hearts of loyal fans of the corporation, is prepared for a very narrow group of recipients. The company created a set of 10 games and priced the package at $999.99.
Last year Atari launched the Atari 50 set to critical acclaim, so the corporation is following suit. Now, however, no large set of productions has been prepared, and the company has focused on “10 best Atari 2600 games”.
Players can buy a set of 10 productions for $ 999.99 (about PLN 4,430), which will be delivered to players in special boxes – each game came on cartridges that glow when the console is turned on. The set also includes special stands and collectible pins.
Previously, the titles were sold for $ 99.99 each, but they quickly sold out, so now Atari decided to prepare a bundle – Atari XP 50th Anniversary: Limited Edition Set of 10 will be available in only 100 copies, so the set will go only to the biggest corporate enthusiasts .

Considering what the design looks like, I’m sure many collectors will want to put this set on their shelves… although the price may be a deterrent.
