League of Legends 32 Bit Support Ends


Riot Games is ending support for League of Legends 32-bit operating systems as of April 4, 2023. Starting this date, players will need to have a 64-bit Windows operating system to play League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics.

Riot Games states that currently 99.9% of players are using a 64-bit operating system. In this case, you will not need to do anything if you are already using a 64-bit operating system. As with other decisions we’ve made in the past (eg, ending support for XP and Vista), continuing to release new content while still supporting legacy hardware requires a significant investment in both development and testing. By removing some of these obstacles, we will be able to continue to push new boundaries and provide fun experiences for players. At this time, we cannot share exact information on which areas we will directly improve through this transition, but you can be sure that it will contribute to our continued investments in the future of League.
