The process to update Instagram on an iPhone is similar to what you have to do on Android, and it is this:
- Open the App Store.
- Now go to the section Account. To do this, click on the profile icon located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Finally, check if Instagram is out of date. If this is the case, click on the button Update that appears next to the application.
After updating Instagram, it is recommended to restart the mobile, both on Android and iPhone. This should be more than enough to activate Instagram Notes.
