Although the cap on the number of Twitter direct messages that can be sent per day is a subject that has been rumored for some time, it was only in the last few hours that we were able to learn what would this action look like working. the reputed leaker Alessandro Paluzzi was the one who posted a screenshot with the notice that those who reach the established daily maximum will receive.
“Get verified to send more messages. You have reached the maximum number of direct messages you can send in a day. Subscribe to Twitter Blue to continue sending,” the warning reads. The poster will offer users two options: follow the process to join the paid version of the social network, or rule out the possibility.
Paluzzi mentions that, currently, the limit of direct messages that can be sent daily by Twitter is 500. However, the leaker believes that the company is likely to stipulate a lower number by the time it applies the new measure.
