However, this is a feature that has been seen on other smartphones, and Google has now incorporated it into its devices. For some time now, Samsung mobile users have had this feature available.

The news of this new function was posted by Google in a tweet. Here he shows off the new feature for the Pixel 6 and newer devices, highlighting that this new feature makes group photos simpler.

To use this feature, you must first access camera settings and enable the timer. Be sure to set the timer to the desired time, for example 5 seconds. To continue, you need to place the device on a stable surface.


Step away from your phone and when you’re ready to take the photo, raise your hand with your palm facing the device and fingers extended. The timer will activate and the photo will be captured automatically.
