Football Manager: One player achieves a world record

Football Manager is probably one of the most popular games on PC by football fans and with good reason. On the other hand, on the market, there is practically nothing like the SEGA management simulator and it is therefore normal that fans want to play it almost to exhaustion. The feat made by a player, however, also earned a good title in the world record book.

As reported on Twitter by Guinness World Records themselves, Pawel Sicinski took the record for the longest game ever at Football Manager. Sicinski, who in real life works as a youth coach in Poland, managed to make a 416-year-134-long match. According to those who analyzed the record, Sicinski left on January 4, 2018 and ran until May 18, 2434. The all taking only 260 days off. A dedication that is certainly out of the ordinary and that has paid off: not everyone can be included in the book and have a certificate from the organization!

The numbers of this company? Sicinski won 1258 trophies and scored 58,900 goals in 22,300 matches. As reported by Give Me Sport, the rate is quite impressive: about 2.64 goals per match, certainly a statistic that many aspire to, especially in a game like Football Manager.

Ok, Sicinski’s feat is historic, but do you know who the previous record holder was? Sepp Hedel, a German who had completed 33 seasons in total. Hedel had played around 15,678 matches, winning 11,217 and scoring 42,672, with 1,028 trophies taken home. Obviously lower numbers than those of the new world record holder, but still very important. But every record is made to be beaten: will you be the future holders of the Guinness World Records or not?
