If you have a Windows computer, you can also set a default browser directly in Windows settings in just a few steps. You will only have to comply with the following steps:

  • Open the menu of Windows settings.
  • Go to the section Applications.
  • There, select Default apps.
  • Now, click the button below the section Web navigator. The button is named after the browser that is currently the default.
  • You will see the list of all installed browsers appear. Click the one you want set as default, and ready.
  • The button will change to show the selected browser and it will be the one that opens by default from now on.
