Comscope’s Android TV STB to power Orange Moldova with live and streaming services



Comscope has partnered with Orange Moldova to provide its customers with the latest generation set tops powered by Android TV designed to provide both live television and premium streaming services.

With the launch of Orange TV Box 4K, Orange Moldova will offer its customers the next generation of a hybrid DVB-C and IP connected 4K UHD digital video decoder to receive and provide broadcast DVB-C TV services seamlessly. will connect to the Internet. OTT streaming services.

Orange TV Box 4K Set Top offers users a state-of-the-art interface and Android TV for an enhanced viewing experience. With Chromecast built-in, subscribers can easily cast their favorite movies, music, and more to their TVs.

Casings for set tops are manufactured with 99 percent post-consumer recycled plastic. ComScope eliminates all single-use plastics in packaging, aligning with both ComScope and Orange’s strong commitment to reducing environmental impact.

Orange TV Box 4K provides access to the full Orange Moldova TV grid with over 180 live TV channels and also allows one hour of recording thanks to the device play/pause functionality.

Orange Moldova represents the third partner ComScope deployed with Android TV. The first two were Orange Slovensco in 2021 and Orange Belgium several weeks ago. Comscope and Orange will continue to launch similar platforms for additional partners during 2022.
