Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 announced with a lot of logo!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: the return of Ghost seems official

Finally here we are: Activision and Infinity Ward have officially unveiled the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 logo. The reveal has come from the official profile of the first person shooter series, with a short animation that has revealed and formalized the new game of the franchise, already formally unveiled in the past few months.

In reality, beyond the officialization of the game, there are not many other details. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 logo is virtually identical to that of the previous iterations: the M and the W share two green shafts, to underline the primary colors of the direction of the franchise taken by Infinity Ward. The only indication regarding the possible nature of the project is given to us by Activision, which underlines how it is a new era of the first person shooter.

The new era of the series has been discussed for some time now. According to rumors, Activision will eliminate annual releases starting in 2023, focusing more on games that will be developed over the years and enriched with new updates. Nothing new under the sun: for years now first person shooters and more generally online games have survived in this way. It would be new to the franchise though, as the annual release was pretty much one of the only things certain in the video game industry. Provided, of course, to prevent further players from escapingwhich would risk undermining the success of the project.

In addition to the logo, it is good to point out how several influencers went to the Infinity Ward offices to carry out some trial runs of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Most likely, therefore, over the next few weeks, the development team, together with Activision , will finally reveal the gameplay of the new game in the series.
