OnePlus 10R launched as a rebranded OnePlus Ace with all its features

OnePlus has announced a new smartphone OnePlus 10R in India. The handset is basically a rebranded OnePlus Ace that was recently launched in China. That’s exactly what we expected though.

The OnePlus 10R is essentially a rebranded OnePlus Ace

The OnePlus 10R actually looks great, and its specs look pretty good on paper too. The phone is made of metal and glass, and it uses a boxy design with curved corners.

The phone has an interesting cooling system with a total heat dissipation area of 35198.2mm. Its VC liquid cooling system covers an area of up to 4129.8mm. OnePlus has included graphite cooling with better cooling effect material here. On top of that, the device includes 9 antennas.

The phone includes thin bezels and a flat display. A centered display camera hole is also included here, while the backplate of the phone has an interesting design. It will vary from one color to another, and it’s still glass on the back.

Its rear camera island also looks quite interesting. There are three sensors in there, and the main one is much bigger than the rest. The power/lock button sits on the right, while the volume up and down buttons are located on the left. There is no alert slider here.

A large AMOLED display is included, and it supports 120Hz refresh rate

OnePlus 10R flaunts a 6.7-inch FullHD+ (2412 x 1080) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC.

The company is offering two different models in India. The more affordable one with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 flash storage. The more expensive model includes 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.

Android 12 comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 12 on the device. Two nano SIM card slots are included here, while an in-display fingerprint scanner is also a part of the package. The same goes for the stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support.

A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX766 sensor, f/1.88 aperture) supported by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera (119-degree FoV, Sony’s IMX355 sensor, f/2.2 aperture), and a 2-megapixel macro camera (GC02M1) Is. sensor, f/2.4 aperture). A 16-megapixel camera (Samsung’s S5K3P9SP sensor, f/2.4 aperture) sits on the front of the phone.

Both 80W and 150W charging models are on offer

The device measures 163.3 x 75.5 x 8.2 mm, while it weighs 186 grams. Two different battery variants of the phone are on offer. A 5,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging is standard. Includes all-new 150W SuperVOOC fast wired charging with a 4,500mAh battery.

OnePlus 10R price in India starts at Rs 38,999 ($510). It is possible that the OnePlus 10R will reach more regions.
