Huawei’s ecosystem of connected devices is still going strong, despite the impediments away from its country as a result of needing its own ‘Huawei Mobile Services’ on the phone to work. But that does not prevent Huawei Watch watches from being among the most reputable on the market and the time has come to renew the most powerful of all. The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro gives way to the latest Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro.
In the previous version we witnessed a duality of models. On the one hand the normal GT 2 Pro arrived and later a new version with built-in electrocardiogram, the GT 2 Pro ECG. Now Huawei merges both devices into one to make a Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro more complete than ever in its line.

Titanium Watch, Ceramic Watch, two constructions to choose from
We start with the distinctions from the first hour, because Huawei prints a very marked character to its two screen sizes. The 46-millimeter case version, for example, is the one with a titanium body, is slightly heavier and has a larger battery. 14/8 days with normal and demanding use, in fact. The 42-millimeter case, however, is made of ceramic, it is 4 grams lighter but the battery suffers significantly, going down to 7 and 4 days respectively.
Since the box is different, so are the screens despite being both OLED. The titanium Watch GT 3 Pro has a 1.43-inch panel compared to 1.32 inches for the ceramic Watch GT 3 Pro. In the rest of the characteristics the watches are identical. For example, both arrive with Harmony OS as an operating system, with NFC chips to be able to pay with the clock and with the rotating crown to be able to move through the menus if we prefer not to touch the touch screen.
Both models incorporate different sensors, among which the ECG sensor stands out, in charge of monitoring our heart through an electrocardiogram, the pressure sensor or the temperature sensor. Both watches arrive with IP68 and resist up to 5 atmospheres of pressure, so we can submerge them up to 30 meters deep. Elegant watches, yes, but also suitable for extreme sports activities.
Versions and prices of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro
As we have already mentioned, the new Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro lands in two versions of screen and construction, differing in everything that we have previously indicated. Logically, they also differ in price. Since we do not yet know the prices for Europe, the ones announced for China are the following:
- Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro titanium and 46mm: 2,488 yuan or 355 euros to change
- Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro ceramic and 42mm: 2,988 yuan or 426 euros to change
