A simple trick that you may not have known about WhatsApp. The desktop version of WhatsApp Desktop has a feature that allows users to change the default camera, so you can choose between webcams, camera apps, and more, something you can’t do on the smartphone app.
First of all, you will need to download and install WhatsApp On your computer. whatsapp desktop it’s available for Windows or macOS, and like the smartphone app, it’s free to use.
After installation, you will need to sync WhatsApp on your smartphone and computer. Done this, you can change the video settings from whatsapp desktop. To change your default video options, you’ll need to start a call with someone. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the option otherwise.
Once you have the video call open, select the three-dot options menu to open a drop-down list. From here, you will find options to change the video option along with audio input and output. Select the option you want to use as your video call input from WhatsApp Default and done.
Having to make a video call to change settings is somewhat irritating. We imagine that the developers of WhatsApp they are already working on it to do it from the same main page of the platform.
HOW TO DEACTIVATE YOUR WHATSAPP WORK ACCOUNT
- First, enter the “Settings” of your Android mobile.
- The next step is to find and press the “Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls” option.
- Now, locate the “Concentration Mode” tab and access the “Work time” section.
- A new window will open, tap on “Edit”.
- Select all apps except WhatsAppthen click “Done”.
- Android will allow you to choose the length of time that the application will be deactivated. It can be 12 hours maximum or until you decide to enable it.
- Finally, click on “Start”.
