If a few days ago both the design and some of the features of the Sony WH-1000XM5 were leaked, recently the Reddit user u/Chez5160 published an entry on the Sony subreddit in which he shared three images of the sales box of the new premium headphones from the Japanese firm that confirm some of their details, such as their new aesthetics and reveal others that had not yet been revealed.
Thus, first of all, these images, which we leave you under these lines, confirm that the new Sony premium headphones will have less autonomy than expectedsince everything seemed to indicate that the battery of the Sony WH-1000XM5 could last 40 hours, but finally it will have the same duration of the Sony XM4s staying in the 30 hours.
The packaging of the Sony WH-1000XM5 box also reveals that the new headphone from the Japanese brand will be compatible with the two most popular virtual assistants, Google Assistant and Alexa and with technology 360 RealityAudio surround sound that was already present in its predecessors.

Regarding the presentation date of the Sony WH-1000XM5, a recent leak from the well-known leaker Jon Prosser affirms that these will reach the market next May 12 for a price of 399 dollarswhich is an increase of 50 dollars over the market price of the WH-1000XM4 which was $349.
