In the trailer we see Terry Silver take command of the Cobra Kai and try to expand your domain across the territory. In fact, the fifth season will pick up exactly where the fourth left off and will also see the return of Chozen, who will create a new alliance with Daniel. Meanwhile, Johnny is looking for Miguel.
Speaking of this fifth season, the show’s creators Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossbergn were interviewed at the Producers Guild Awards (PGA):
“For season 4 we all knew we were moving in the direction of the tournament, while for season 5 no one knows where we are going. Apart from us, who have already created it! There’s a lot of crazy stuff. If you’re a fan of the franchise, maybe you might find some familiar faces, or maybe not. There will be … a lot of karate! “
Hurwitz added:
“The villains won in season 4, so there will be a hefty bill to pay, that of revenge. There are a lot of people kicking and punching each other but the story will go in a new direction that is impossible to predict. “
Hayden Schlossberg explained about Chozen:
“When Daniel went to Okinawa, in the third season of Cobra Kai, we saw that Chozen had lived this life of shame, coming out of the events of Karate Kid II. And the fact that Daniel came to Okinawa gave him the opportunity to redeem himself in his eyes. “
