How to Log in to Telegram Using Your Phone or Computer

Telegram is a secure messaging app. This means that every message you send is encrypted, and it takes longer than a standard username and password to log into your account.

How to Log in to Telegram App for iPhone, iPad and Android

You must have an active phone number to create a Telegram account. That’s because logging in requires you to enter a code that gets texted to your phone, or told you over a phone call.

Telegram will send you a five-digit code. If you’re already logged into Telegram on another mobile device, however, Telegram will send your code to that device’s app.

If you’re trying to log into Telegram and you don’t have another verified device, you’ll also see a message telling you that Telegram will be calling you within a few minutes. If you can’t receive text messages, this is a fallback option for logging into your account.

The Telegram web app gives you two ways to log in. You can use your phone number like a mobile app, or you can use a QR code. To do either, go to the Telegram website.

To log in using a QR code, open Telegram on a mobile device and tap Adjustment in the lower-right corner, and then Device, select the link desktop device Select the option and point your device’s camera at the QR code. The website should log in immediately.
