Off The Grid, here is the new battle royale developed by Neil Blomkamp



The next third-person battle royale title is signed by the team of Gunzilla Games. The game in question is Off The Grid, presented with a very short trailer in which we can see little more than the setting and its atmosphere. The team is at its first job and is made up of established professionals in both the film and video game fields. Among these, a name that will resonate familiar to many is that of Neil Blomkamp, South African director on his debut in the world of gaming.

Set in a dystopian future, Off The Grid, is a cyberpunk-style shooter that aims to evolve the genre through a strong emphasis on narrative progression. To achieve the goal, the team is made up of many veterans such as Chief Visionary Officer Neill Blomkamp director and screenwriter of films such as District 9 or Elysiumscreenwriter Richard K. Morgan (Altered Carbon, Crysis) and Executive Narrative Director Olivier Henriot (Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed).

To create a unique experience, Off The Grid features 150 players who will fight each other in PvP battles. The title of Gunzilla Games It will also allow players to tackle PvE story missions using the same map populated by other players in real time. Players will have the freedom to control the evolution of this hard-boiled style storyline. Every decision made during the game, in fact, will affect the choices and the development of the plot itself. At the heart of the experience and deep narrative structure is the unique way players will be able to create, customize and trade their items with each other.

In Off The Grid, the lines between hero and villain become blurred as players fight to survive the secret corporate battles of the future. The title of Gunzilla Games does not yet have a release date set but is scheduled on PC, PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series X | S in the course of 2023.
