Nothing Phone 1 may be available at the same price range as the OnePlus 10R

The plans to launch a smartphone named Nothing Phone 1 this year have not already been shared. The device has been grabbing headlines for a long time as the brand keeps sharing details about it.

In a recent development, some details have emerged regarding the pricing, features and specifications of the smartphone. Tweets shared online show a glimpse of what the device could look like. It may feature a nude design similar to the buds launched by Nothing.

Coming to the specifications, the smartphone can be seen running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. It will work on customized OS skin based on Android 12 operating system. The device will likely have a transparent back which will make it stand out from the crowd.

There is no report about the launch date of the smartphone. The device is expected to hit the global market by July 21. There is speculation that the device will be rolled out in China at the same time.

Not only this, information about the price of the smartphone has also been given online. We can see the device shipping around the world at a price of around EUR 500 which translates to around Rs 41,500.

What is the competition?

We can say that the Nothing Phone 1 will compete with the recently launched OnePlus 10R, Realme GT Neo 3 and other devices. The device’s biggest competition in the industry will be the Oppo Reno 8 Pro that hit the Chinese market a day back.

The Oppo offering also runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and packs high-end specifications. There are high chances that the Nothing Phone 1 will offer a cleaner UI and smoother OS when compared to the Oppo Reno 8 Pro. Apart from this, readers will have to wait a little longer to know which one is better.
