The new Overlord IV trailer reveals the anime’s debut date



Overlord is the series that adapts the fantasy literary saga of Kugane Maruyama And so-bin. Now, the anime’s official website has revealed, through a brand new one Overlord IV trailer the debut date of the new season, that is on July 5th. The video also reveals a preview of the initial and final theme.

Of the new season we know that the cast of the previous ones returns once again: Satoshi Hino it’s still Ains Ooal Gown, Yumi Hara it’s Albedo, Sumire Uesaka plays Shalltear Bloodfallen, Emiri Kat it’s Aura Bella Fiora, Yumi Uchiyama plays Mare Bello Fiore, Masayuki Katou is Demiurge and Kenta Miyake is Cocytus.

As for the staff, Naoyuki Itou will return to direct the anime at Madhouse while Yukie Sugawara returns to write and supervise the scripts for the series. Satoshi Tasaki returns as a character designer.

Below you can watch the trailer which reveals both the opening theme song titled HOLLOW HUNGER and performed by the duo OxT (Masayoshi ishi and Tom-H @ ck) and the final theme, Man’s Dawn by Mayu Maeshima.



Overlord: the franchise

The light novel by Overlord is written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The series has been published fourteen volumes by Enterbrain as of July 2012. The manga adaptation is opera Hugin Miyama which started serialization on Monthly Comp Ace by Kadokawa Shoten on November 26, 2014. In Italy, the manga is published by J-POP and you can retrieve the first volume on Amazon:
