UaniaShield is an IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) perimeter UTM protection service that allows you to protect the company’s internet traffic without having to install a firewall in the network.

The protection takes place in the Uania cloud using devices equipped with the maximum licenses available on the market, to ensure the customer can have access to the best protection without any compromise. The filtered traffic is then delivered directly to the static and dedicated public IP of the Uania solution.

UaniaShield acts as a real security shield, allowing you to activate and customize numerous integrated features: Antivirus, Web filter, DNS filter, Application control, IPS, SSL, File Inspection.

Unlike a “classic” implementation, UaniaShield, which is also available for multi-site companies, offers low implementation coststhanks to a single monthly fee that includes all the protection services.

The solution is plug & play and arrives at the customer already preconfigured and customizable. Great attention was also paid to scalability: the constantly updated database makes the solution extremely scalable and ready to adapt at any time to all needs.

Not at least, the management platform is able to generate a monthly report of a few pages which illustrates the work of the service and its effective usefulness for the active protection of the company.

In recent times we have been seeing more and more interconnectedness of companies and employees. Just think of those realities that operate through multiple offices located throughout the territory, or those who connect to the corporate network remotely “.

This evolution makes the need to effectively secure navigation more and more evident; often, in fact, the development of companies is limited precisely by gaps in this area which – if managed through the most appropriate tools – can be completely bridged. ” explains Stefano Aversa, Founding Partner of Uania.
