Does UHD content use DCI-P3 or BT.2020 color space?
The problem with this issue (and with the Samsung bug) is found at its root. Yes, UHD technically comes mastered in a BT.2020 container, a wider color space than the traditional Rec.709 (used in Blu-ray and non-UHD content). The problem is that within this color space there is another one, called DCI-P3, which is the one used by 99% of UHD movies and series.
Think of the analogy of a matrisoka: a doll within another. Here it would be the same, finding the BT.2020 color space (the largest) which in turn contains the DCI-P3 (the smallest), which is the one that is normally used:
As you can see in the photo above, the colorimetry of the vast majority of films is in the continuous line triangle. And there are a number of movies that use the wider color space BT.2020 provides (the big one with the dashed line). These kind of movies (and demos, as almost all manufacturers demos come with BT2020 as well to impress more) contain a flag so that the television changes to the correct space and thus we always see the color as it should only that in Samsung that automatic change does not work.

Understanding the main problem, which is that in Samsung the automatic change between color spaces does not work correctly (in the rest of the brands it works without problems), its solution is impossible, since this happens yes or yes by manually changing the space color depending on the type of content we see.
To make a change in color space between DCI-P3 and BT.2020, the first thing is that we will have to put a UHD content, a movie, demo, etc. Once done, we will go to the PICTURE MENU EXPERT SETTINGS COLOR GAMMA SETTINGS CUSTOMwhere you will see that you can select between DCI-P3 and BT.2020.
As we do not know the mastering used in the content, we will assume that it is within the vast majority of content that uses the DCI-P3, so the best idea is to always leave it fixed in this space and change it (yes, by hand) every time. that we see something in BT.2020 -we have prepared a list below-, because if we activate it with content mastered in DCI-P3, we will saturate the colors a lot, being completely unreal:
