Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2: a strong commitment to noise cancellation and sound quality

Two years ago we reviewed the Huawei FreeBuds Pro, one of Huawei’s best bets on noise-cancelling TWS headphones. With a similar design, but improved specificationsNow the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 arrive. These are their characteristics, technical specifications and exchange price, since they have not been officially presented in Spain (for the moment).

Huawei’s answer to AirPods Pro

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 have a design similar to that of its first generation. They are headphones inspired by Apple’s AirPods Pro, with an almost identical aesthetic. Regarding the improvements with respect to the first model, Huawei promises better noise cancellationcapable of canceling 47 dB compared to 40 dB of the original model.

Secondly, we now find a greater frequency range, which moves between 14 to 48,000 Hz. This earns the HD audio certificationin addition to renewing the driver units to achieve higher sound quality.

The FreeBuds 3 Pro now support a triple adaptive equalizer system, also gaining IP54 resistance (something that will allow them to get wet, but not submerge them). The autonomy remains practically identical, with up to 30 hours with a case, 4 hours of playback with ANC activated and 6.5 if we deactivate it.

They are compatible with iOS and Androidalthough from the Huawei website the minimum version that will be necessary to be able to pair them with our device is not detailed.

Versions and price of the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2

The new Huawei headphones are on sale in some European countries, although Spain, for the moment, does not appear on the list of them. They are available for 199 euros in the colors white, black and blue.
