Windows 11 Build 25145 Released With New Privacy Features

Windows 11 Build 25145 is now available for Insiders continuing testing on the Dev Channel, along with a few new features and bug fixes. With the new build, the integration between OneDrive and Settings goes further. However, Narrator Braille driver support and a new Local Administrator Password Solution have been incorporated into the operating system.

Microsoft is also rolling out an important feature so that every user can protect their privacy. Firstly Build 25140 You can monitor usage history of various functions such as Location, Camera, Microphone, Voice activation, Call log, Messaging, Contacts, Pictures, Videos, Music library and Screenshot.

You can access the 7-day resource access history in Settings > Privacy > App permissions. At this point, simply click on one of the app permissions categories, such as microphone, and look at the “Recent activity” section.

These innovations are currently only available to Dev Channel members. Also, let’s remind you that the updates coming to this Insider channel may work unstable.

What’s New With Windows 11 Build 25145

Microsoft has been putting more emphasis on OneDrive integration lately. It is already possible to configure OneDrive as the default File Explorer folder so you can easily access documents and other files stored in the cloud storage service.

Build 25145 offers a more advanced OneDrive subscription management for the Accounts page in Settings. On the Accounts page, you’ll notice OneDrive subscriptions that allow you to view the current usage of cloud storage, recurring billing, payment method, and more. You’ll also start getting notifications about cloud storage in the Windows Settings app, as OneDrive is deeply integrated into Settings.
