Intel conferma la famiglia Arrow Lake di 15a generazione e la famiglia Lunar Lake di 16a generazione


Intel ha presentato oggi diverse linee di prodotti, tra cui Raptor Lake e Arc Alchemist di 13a generazione, insieme all’Investors Meeting 2022. Come puoi immaginare, i piani del produttore di chip risalgono a anni fa. In questo contesto, l’azienda ha ufficialmente confermato tre distinte linee di prodotti previste per il lancio nel 2024.

Intel è la prima ad annunciare che Arrow Lake sostituirà Meteor Lake come prodotto per i clienti (serie Intel Core). La famiglia Arrow Lake di 15a generazione utilizzerà probabilmente la stessa piattaforma di Meteor Lake di 14a generazione e verrà lanciata nel 2024. D’altra parte, per la produzione di questi chip verranno utilizzate tre diverse tecniche di produzione: Intel 4, Intel 20A e tecnologia External N3.

La società ha anche fornito alcuni dettagli per Lunar Lake, che sarà rilasciato dopo il 2024 (2024+), forse nel 2025. L’azienda beneficerà di una tecnologia di produzione esterna senza nome sviluppata da un’altra società insieme a Intel 18A nel Lunar Lake di 16a generazione famiglia.
