How to configure your Android mobile to send photos and documents to the printer

Nowadays, being able to connect everything through a Wi-Fi network allows many tasks to be carried out with ease. It is no longer necessary to connect cables from one terminal to another to save files. You also don’t need a laptop or computer to print a document or photo. Only a little configuration is required on your device Android in order to enjoy this feature.

Although connecting several elements to a network is simple, we must always be attentive to the state of the connection. The website recommends following five steps in case you cannot use the printer from your cell phone.

Reset all items

Start with the smartphone, then the router, and the printer. If there was a connection problem in any of these devices, a simple restart will be enough to eliminate the problems in any of them and you will be able to print easily.

Check the internet connection

Nowadays, many devices can work with different internet bands. We must make sure that the printer and the smartphone are connected in the same frequency. If the printing machine is connected to the 2.4 GHz network and the Android smartphone is linked to the 5 GHz network, no connection can be established.

Check the environment

Although it is hard to believe, there are objects that can interfere with the performance of our router. There are electronic systems that emit radio signals, which affect Wi-Fi. Don’t rule out your smartphone case either, as these accessories block the signal from your smartphone’s antennas.

add the printer

It is quite common that the printing service that we had added has been deleted by mistake. The solution is quite simple and Mag El Comercio tells you what the steps to follow are:

  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Connected Devices
  • Now select Connection Preferences
  • Go to Printing and click on Add service
  • Choose the printer to which you want to make the connection

Clear the to-do list

If you have already reviewed all the previous points and the connection section works perfectly, but you still cannot print the desired document, then check the pending list of your printer.

To enter this section you just have to access the print job manager as follows:

  • Go to Settings
  • Go into apps, then go to Apps & notifications
  • Now select Access from all apps and choose Print Spooler or Print Spooler
  • Click on Storage and then on Force stop
  • Now click on Clear data

With this you will have your print ready to be able to print that photo or file that is on your cell phone.
