iPhone 14 screen leak shows us what we’re expecting from the four new phones

We’ve been hearing so many rumors and leaks of the iPhone 14, that none of them are really surprising anymore – but a new one gives us a clear representation of what we’ve heard so far.

This has been shared by a Twitter user named @sarnbyte – Apparently, it originated from the Chinese social media network Weibo, and we see a lot of leaks from there, as a lot of the iPhone manufacturing process is based in the country.

The leak shows screens for all four iPhone 14 models, placed side-by-side so you can see and compare sizes – in that order are the Pro Max, Max, Pro, and Standard. And as we can see, there are two key features among them.

First, there’s the size – both the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro are smaller than the other two models. We hear that both these devices will have a 6.1-inch screen, while the other will have a 6.7-inch screen the image clearly shows the difference.

The other interesting feature regards space for the front-facing cameras: multiple leaks have suggested that the iPhone 14 series will use a ‘punch-hole’ cut-out segment for the selfie camera and Face ID, like a lot of Android phones have. .

However, new leaks have suggested that only certain members of the iPhone 14 family will get it, and others will stick to the notch like the iPhone 13 family. And that’s exactly what we see in the images – the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have notch spots, while the Standard and Max models have notch spots.

The tweeter states that both Pro phones have narrower bezels than the iPhone 13 Pro devices, and that the aspect ratio is different, making them slightly taller and narrower.

Analysis: A Reminder But Nothing New

This new leak doesn’t really provide any new information, but it’s not really needed.

With so many different leaks and rumors floating around – we sometimes saw several in one day – it’s hard to keep track of all the expected changes and differences between the new and the old.

That’s why leaks like this are useful – it makes it easier to remind us of some of the big differences that leaks have already told us.

Another big difference is the chipset – we hear that the Pro model will have a new A16 Bionic processor while the Standard and Max devices will get the same A15 that came with the iPhone 13 model.

So in 2022, compared to previous years, it looks like there is going to be a clear and clear divide between the four phones. Of course, this is all based on leaks, so we’ll have to see how it all pans out when the phone launches at the end of the year.
