Recently, we told you that WhatsApp was testing the sending of 2GB files only in Argentina and now the messaging application has confirmed that this functionality will be available, very soon, worldwide.

In addition to the reactions to the messages, WhatsApp confirmed yesterday that very soon all its users will be able to send files up to 2 GB in size and, in addition, said shipments will be protected with end to end encryption. This represents a large increase compared to the previous limit that was only 100 MB.

The other great novelty that the messaging client is working on, which the specialized medium WABetaInfo has already advanced, is an improvement that will allow the creation of larger groups, increasing the maximum number of participants from 256 to 512 peopleas you can see in the image that we leave you under these lines.
