Google is set to officially make a comeback in the Indian smartphone segment with the launch of Pixel 6a, The mid-range smartphone from the Alphabet company was announced yesterday during Google I/O Event, The price of the smartphone is expected to be less than Rs 40,000 In the country and will be sold exclusively through Flipkart.
After the main event, Google India made its official announcement on Twitter that the company is launching the Pixel 6a in the country later this year. This may mean that we may have to wait a few more months. Hopefully we’ll get more concrete details in the coming weeks.

Since the device is made to target a tight budget, you will notice some big differences when it comes to the build quality of the smartphone. Google Pixel 6a Price and Availability
The Pixel 6a is expected to cost around Rs 35,000 when it arrives in the country. This will put it in competition with the third generation iPhone SE, Realme GT Neo 3, Realme GT 2 and OnePlus 10R.
In terms of color options, the smartphone will come in Sage, Chalk and Charcoal colours. Pixel 6a will be available in only one variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

The specifications of Google Pixel 6a are special in themselves. It comes with the same Google Tensor chipset that the company introduced on its flagship devices. Instead of focusing on providing a performance-oriented tool, the company wants to bring the best of all Google in one compact package. The Google Tensor chipset is aimed more towards machine learning and AI functionality. This will help in image processing, running queries and completing tasks faster.
The smartphone also features a 6.1-inch FullHD+ OLED display integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The device gets additional safety features with its onboard Titan M2 processor.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G support. The Pixel 6a is expected to launch with Android 13 out-of-the-box. Google had confirmed that the device will get security updates 5 years in the future.
