The film of Bakuten !! (Backflip !!), the original anime about male artistic gymnastics distributed by Crunchyroll in simulcast with Japan, finally has a release date! The website revealed that the film will premiere on July 2nd. Also has been released the new trailer that reveals and anticipates the song by Centimillimental Hikari no Naka kara Tsutaetai koto (Something I Want to Tell You from Inside the Light).

The film will tell the final challenge of the “Ao High” men’s rhythmic gymnastics team at the inter-school tournament and will see the return of the cast and staff.

This is the synopsis:
Last summer of middle school, Shotaro Futaba discovers gymnastics for boys and is completely in love with it. Shotaro ends up going to Soshukan Private High School (aka Ao High) and decides to visit the men’s gymnastics club. He is greeted by very special senpai and a gymnastics star named Misato Ryoya.
