Galaxy A51, A32 5G and unlocked Galaxy A42 5G get Android 12 in the US



Samsung has released Android 12 update for a few more Galaxy smartphones in the US. The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A32 5G are getting the big Android update stateside. The Galaxy A42 5G is also now widely picking up the new Android version in the country.

For the Galaxy A51, the Android 12 update comes with Samsung’s One UI 4.1. It is available for both carrier-locked and unlocked users and also brings the February 2022 Android security patch. The updated firmware version for the two variants is A515USQU7DVD3 and A515U1UEU7DVD4 respectively.

The Galaxy A32 5G is also getting One UI 4.1 with Android 12 update in the US. The rollout is currently limited to the carrier-locked variant with firmware version A326USQU7BVD1 and comes with the April security patch. Users of the unlocked variant can expect to receive the update in the next few days.

Lastly, the Android 12 update is also now rolling out to the unlocked variant of the Galaxy A42 5G in the US. The update comes almost four months after the carrier-locked variant was received. When the rollout for the carrier-locked variant began in January, Samsung hadn’t offered One UI 4.1. The devices came with One UI 4.0 for Android 12. The unlocked variants are now getting the old One UI version as well. The new update bundles the March security patch.

Android 12 gifts reach more Galaxy smartphones in the US

Android 12 brings tons of new features and enhancements to Galaxy smartphones. Samsung has developed a color palette feature that is inspired by Google’s Material U dynamic theme. It lets you extract the color scheme of your wallpaper and apply it to system-wide UI elements, providing a consistent look.



In addition, we’ve revamped stock apps, new privacy features including display indicators for camera and microphone access, grammatical integration with the Samsung keyboard, improved widgets, new photo editing features, improved Bixby routines, enhanced dark mode, and many more. If you’re using the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A32 5G, or Galaxy A42 5G in the US and haven’t received Android 12 yet, don’t wait any longer. Watch out for the notification regarding OTA (over the air) rollout in the coming days. you can also visit software update menu on your phone Adjustment App to manually check for updates. tap on Download and install There is an option to check if you have OTA update pending download.
